Evelyn Maxine Brown
August 31, 1935 — July 24, 2022
Evelyn Maxine Brown, 86, passed away July 24, 2022 with her son by her side. Born in Midway, PA to Maxwell and Doris (Black) Cummins, she resided in the Akron area most of her adult life. Maxine enjoyed reading as well as spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Brown; brother, Melvin Cummins. She will be sadly missed by her son, Jerry Brown; grandson, Daniel Brown; brother, Milton Cummins.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a celebration of her life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Maxine's name to the charity of their choice.
