Evelyn A. Claytor
Evelyn A. Claytor, 84, passed away September 30, 2004 at Pebble Creek Nursing Home where she was a resident for more than 14 years. Evelyn was born August 24, 1920 in Akron, Ohio to the late Joseph & Katie (Shaner) Claytor. She retired from Bell Telephone with over 30 years service and was a member of the Arlington Street Church of the Nazarene where she was active in Mission and teaching Sunday School for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Rae Claytor. She is survived by her brothers, Joseph and Calvin (Louise) Claytor. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. with Pastor Darrell Frazier officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. Thursday until the service begins. Interment will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in her honor to the church of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff of Pebble Creek Nursing Home for their tender, loving care.
