Evelyn Jean Kidd (Raybould)
Evelyn Jean Kidd, 86, of Springfield Township, passed away July 21, 2012. She was born in Akron on April 13, 1926 to the late Louis and Idella Beck. Evelyn was a candy maker at Arnolds Candies for over 20 years and a member of Ellet Church of the Nazarene. She could often be found in her kitchen, baking pies and canning peppers. An avid music lover, Evelyn enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and playing the harmonica.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, David E. Raybould; second husband, Herbert Kidd; son, Bill Raybould; and brother, Richard Beck. She will be deeply missed by her children, Carol (Gary) Sanderfer, David (Natalie) Raybould, and Bonnie Gearhart (Larry); sisters Marion Beck, Nancy Volk, and Joanne (Gene) Williams; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday July 25 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
