Everett E. Younkin
Everett E. Younkin, 72, went home to be with the Lord on April 1, 2016. He was born in Akron, OH to the late William and Anna Younkin. He retired from Ford Motor Co after 40 years of service. Everett was a sports fanatic, he would not miss a game. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, watching cowboy movies, and spending time with his family. He loved his schnauzer dogs, Jules and Jessica.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ronnie and Clarence; and sister, Dorothy. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Pauline; sons, Everett Jr. (Vicki), Dana (Amber) and Gregory; step-children, Paul, Martin, Angela, Annette and Debra. He also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends on Sunday April 3, 2016 from 1-3pm and the funeral service will be held on Monday April 4, 2016 at 12noon at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305. Pastor Kim Lawrence officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park.
