Felicia Renee Hammond

Felicia Renee "Phillie" Hammond, 32, passed away unexpectedly on August, 12, 2019. Born in Akron, she was a lifelong area resident. Felicia was a sociable person who enjoyed spending time at the beach with her children, coaching her sons' soccer teams, crafting, cooking and being surrounded by loved ones.

Preceded in death by grandparents, Patrick and JoAnne Glenn, Millard Knowles; aunt, Veronica Glenn, she will be sadly missed by her sons, Brendon, Jayden and Ethan; husband, Joe Frye and his children, Joseph, Averie and Emma; parents, Kelly Knowles, Doug (Denise) Knowles; siblings, Jessica, Tyler and Leah; grandmother, Georgia Knowles; many aunts, uncles, cousins and family-like friends.

Please join us for a visitation Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio. A Celebration of Felicia's Life will immediately follow at the funeral home. Those who wish may make memorial donations to her sons.
