Flora D. Wilson

Flora D. Wilson, age 76, passed away at Woodland Rehabilitation Center on Friday, November 13, 2020 at 7:28pm. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and absolutely a child of God. Flora's life was spent devoted to God and her family, and she always wore a smile. She enjoyed nature, animals, reading, coloring, her television programs and football. For a time, she worked at City Laundry in Akron, Ohio.

She is survived by her children Karen Calloway, Etta Wilson, Ora Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, and David Wilson. She was a beloved grandmother to Matthew Wilson, Souda, Mason, Max, Souwana Nachampasak, and eight other grandchildren. She's preceded by her daughter Darla Wilson, who now embraces her in heaven.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday, November 21 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, Ohio 44305. Funeral to begin at 12:00pm. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest next to her dad at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.

She is missed by those who knew her loving, genuine heart.
