Florence "Flo" Alesci, age 66 of Northfield, passed away on September 7, 2021.
Flo was born on March 26, 1955 in Garfield Heights to Frank and Lois (Tanner) Alesci. She was a very hard worker, and worked for Gojo Industries for 20 years. Flo enjoying drawing, painting, and listening to R&B music. She loved playing Candy Crush and collecting stuffed animals. She was an animal lover. Flo liked to travel and went to New York, Myrtle Beach, and Canada. She loved learning new things.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Frank Alesci, and nephews, Frankie and Michael.
She is survived by her sisters, Judy (David) Sliman, Maria (Rich) Kuhn, Jean (Dick) Ford, Lois (John) Mahle, Carmella (Roger) Stone, and, Anna (Joe) Langham, nieces and nephews, David, Dion, Dominic, Anthony, Richie, Bobby, Gina, Richard, Cory, Johnny, Jerry, Joseph, and good friends, Mike (Cathy) Milliachi.
The family would like to thank the caretakers at Ardmore Incorporated in Akron for their excellent care of Flo.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Cancer Society at https://donate3.cancer.org.
Friends and family may come to call on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home in Akron. A service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial to take place at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
