Florence "Carol" Grunder, 74, went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2013. She was a very active member at Springfield Church of the Brethren. Carol loved visiting the beach and lighthouses. Her greatest joy was her family.
Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Robert, Donald, Raymond, and Lawrence Sigler and Mary Ann Gold; and beloved husband, Ralph E. Grunder. Left to mourn her loss is son, Glen Grunder; daughter, Jean Garcia; grandchildren, Kristen and Anthony Garcia; and brothers, Carl Buchanan and Ernest (Pam) Buchanan.
Special thanks to Dr. Rehmus and her staff at the McDowell Cancer Center.
Calling hours will be Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at Springfield Church of the Brethren, 3500 Albrecht Ave. Akron, with a funeral service to follow at 12 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Springfield Church of the Brethren.
