Florence M. Mellor, 94, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2006. Florence was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on May 2, 1911 and lived in the Akron area for most of her life. She was a lifelong member of Church of the Good Shepherd. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald Mellor, Florence is survived by her son, Charles (JoAnne) Mellor; granddaughter, Cindy (Ron) Pavlovich; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Nathan, and Lydia; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 1st at 11 a.m. at Church of the Good Shepherd, 785 S. Main St., (330) 434-6442.
