Ford J. Linderman, 84, of Stow, passed away April 5, 2018. Ford was born in Ghent, Ohio on July 27, 1933 to the late Ford and Thelma Linderman. He was a graduate of Hudson High School where he was very active in Varsity sports, and later attended Kent State University. Ford retired from Cleveland Twist Drill Company where he worked for 44 years. Ford was an avid sports fan who enjoyed walking, staying active and loved occasional trips to the casino. He enjoyed people and engaging in good conversation, and most of all, spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Ford was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Katherine and brother, James Linderman.
He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Linda (Greg) Ward; sister, Peggy Boyle; grandchildren, Matthew (Erin) Schaad and Brittany (Kirk) Simmonds; great-grandchildren, Graham, Henry, Charlotte and Heidy. He will also be missed by his best friend, Walt and friends at Silver Lake Towers. A special thanks to the girls at Tip Top Restaurant for being so kind.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. If desired, memorial donations can be made in Ford's honor to a charity of your choice, or raise a glass of chardonnay or Miller Lite and make a toast in his name.
