Frances E. Brobst "Betty"
Betty Brobst, 93, of Mogadore, passed away October 29, 2008. Betty was born in Akron on January 17, 1915. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; brother, Paul Thielen; and sisters, Marie Matz, Dorothy Glassner, and Kathryn Bennett. She is survived by her children, Charlene (Jim) Kinser, Bernard Brobst, Pat (Tim) Moye, and Chris (Al) Barnes; brother, Robert (Joanne) Thielen; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Per Betty's wishes, private graveside services have already taken place. A memorial Mass will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2603 Benton St., Akron 44312 or Hospice of VNS, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, 44333.
