Frances J. Neal, 77, went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2009. She was a member of the Brady Lake Baptist Church. Frances loved to read and enjoyed traveling with her husband to various places. She always carried a great smile and a warm heart and she was a true lady. Preceded in death by her parents, John and Ada Williams; 6 sisters; and 1 brother. Frances is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles; children, Edgar Neal, Deborah (Frank) Porreco and Sherry (Jerry) Greathouse; grandchildren, Melissa, Frank III, Jenny, Jerry Jr., Matthew, Abbey and Eddie; great-grandchildren, Faith, Joy and Aidan; sisters, Mary Crawford and Gloria Magrell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held Monday, December 7, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Virgil Elkins officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
