Frances Rose Kurtz, age 85 of Akron, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 3, 2017. She was born on May 7, 1931 in Akron.
She was the beloved wife of Cletus; her daughters, Susan Dunn, Jamie Watson and Wil, and Debbie Kurtz Braham and Rick; grandchildren, Josh, Caitie, Jessie, Ryan (Erica), and Adam; two great-grandchildren, Nora and Noah.
We celebrate the life of this amazing woman who worked very hard all her life. She was devoted to her family; she absolutely loved Ohio State Football and the Cleveland Cavaliers; and dancing the jitterbug years ago. She was fierce!
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Pastor Kris Hawk will celebrate Frances' life.
Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.
Frances will be laid to rest in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
