Frances C. Riffle

Frances C. Riffle, 96, received her healing from Alzheimer's on January 16, 2017. She was born on October 20, 1920 in Butler, TN to the late Charles and Minnie Eggers. Frances came to Akron, OH at age 17. She worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, Isley's Deli, and Gaylord's Department Store. Frances was a very devoted mother and grandmother, loved spending time with her family, and singing in church. She was a member of Home Missionary Baptist Church and Full Gospel Tabernacle.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Rev. George Riffle; brothers, Carnie Eggers and Clyde Eggers; and sister, Bonnie Dickey. She leaves her son, Michael (Denise) Riffle; grandsons, Allen (Sarah) Riffle and Brandon (Brittany) Riffle; great-grandson, Weston Riffle; and special friend, Kathy Bailey (Deacon).

Friends may call from 10am to 12pm on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Home Missionary Baptist Church, 1922 Oakes Drive, Akron, OH 44312. A celebration of life will take place at 12pm. Rev. Keith Emhoff officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park, Akron.
