Frances Rose Keys, 61, passed away on October 13, 2013.
Fran had worked as a nurse for the past 40 years. She enjoyed decorating for and celebrating the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas, shopping, gardening, and socializing with her friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Mary Ellen Nucciarone. She is survived by daughters, April Keys (Rocco Crone) and Laura Keys; siblings, Toni Nucciarone, Mike (Virginia) Nucciarone, Mary (Vince) Militano, Michelle Kane (Drew Belfiore), Kathy (Dan) Bales, Kris (Randy) Norris, and Tina (Mike) Gregerson.
Special thanks to Crossroads Hospice, Amanda Pratt, and other family and friends for their care and support during Frances' illness.
Calling hours will be Friday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 p.m., with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ALS Association, 6155 Rockside Rd., Independence, OH 44131.
