Frances Ward

Frances "Jean" Ward, 68, passed away on October 22, 2011. Born March 3, 1943 in Preston County, WV, to the late Charles and Adalaide Bolyard. Jean took pride in being a devoted wife, mother, and Nanny. She is now spending eternity with her husband of 40 years, James D. Ward. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terry. She was a loving mother to Robin (Vern) Newman, Kim Ward, Jimbo (Kristy) Ward, and Bobbi (Mike) Terranova. Nanny will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Stephanie, Tiffanie, Lisa Jo, Jimmy, Tommy, Jill, Wyatt, Bethany, Liv, Mackenzie; her great-grandchildren, Bailie, Kaje, and Braydon. Special thanks to Dee Hahn, Michelle, Erica, and Debbie and the staff at Pebble Creek Nursing Facility and Crossroads Hospice for all of their loving care. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 5-8 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Deyarmin Foundation c/o Newcomer Funeral Home.
