Francis R. "Frank" Ropchock

Francis R. Ropchock, 78, passed on April 26, 2021. He was born November 25, 1942. Preceded in death by father and mother, George Sr. and Mary Ropchock. He leaves behind loving family of wife, Nancy O'Brien of 57 years; 2 sons, Shawn and Ronald Ropchock; daughter, Stacey Bibey; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Darlene Laney; brothers, George, Jack, Jim and Jerome; and many friends and family members. Frank was a Vietnam Veteran and a cement finisher with Local 109 for 40 years. He will be dearly missed.

Visitation will be held from 4-6pm on Thursday, April 29 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral mass will take place at 11am on Friday, April 30 at St. Sebastian Church, 476 Mull Ave., Akron. He will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
