Frank A. White, 83, of Akron, passed away February 4, 2014. He was born in Akron on May 29, 1930 to the late Richard and Leona White. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Army and spent his entire career as a contractor.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary White; siblings, Ida, Doris, and Warren. He will be deeply missed by his sons, David (Robin) White and Jerry (Beth) White; eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings, Wesley, Richard, Ellen, and Kay; many other relatives and friends.
Family and friends may call on Sunday, February 9 from 2-5 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
