Frank Dominic Borrelli, 85, of Mogadore, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2024. He was born on January 20, 1939 to the late Carmen and Theresa {Petrarca} Borrelli.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Lenny and Sandy Borrelli.
On April 4, 1964, he married Faythe Ann {May} Borrelli, and they just celebrated 60 wonderful years together. She survives, along with their children Doug (Wendy) Borrelli and Amy (Dwayne) Cummings; grandchildren Emily, Dominic, Kyle, Alexis, Kannon and Kade; great-grandchildren Andi and Franki; many extended family members and friends.
Frank worked at Goodyear Aerospace, and eventually retired from Ohio Edison. In his free time, he enjoyed working on cars & building race cars. He raced with the Akron Camjammers at the Akron airport in the late 50s and continued to build engines and enjoy time at the track. Just last month, he was at the track watching one of his cars run. He served in the Army Reserves and loved his country. Frank had exceptional ability and could fix anything. He built and flew remote control airplanes. Frank attended Cornerstone church faithfully for over 40 years and served in so many ways. He served on the board, taught Sunday school and helped countless people move, just to name a few. While enjoying winters in Florida, Frank was Chairman of the road committee in their mobile park, made pancakes for the park breakfast, and worked in any capacity to help. To know Frank was to love him. He was fair, honest, and stood up for what was right. He loved his family and was always patient and kind - not to mention a character. What a sense of humor! He loved supporting and cheering on his kids and grandkids with their hobbies & interests and could be counted on to give the best guidance.
