Frank Calvin Lichtenberger, age 71 of Mogadore passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. He was born in Akron on June 21, 1950, a son of the late John M. and Ruth {Hewitt} Lichtenberger.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brother Tom and sisters Linda and Joyce.
Frank will always be loved by his wife of 16 years, Cheryl; children Eric (Tracy) and Dana Lichtenberger; step-son Travis (Missy Suich) Meadows; grandchildren Eric Lichtenberger Jr. and Pressly Howard; brothers John and Dan Lichtenberger; sister Lisa (Mike) Roseling; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Frank was a proud patriot, and veteran of the United States Army. He and his brother John took their handyman talents into the professional world, owning and operating their own contracting business, J&F Construction, for over 50 years. There wasn't a person in Frank's life that he didn't fix something for! Frank had an awesome sense of humor, and was a legend of a practical joker. More than anything, Frank's favorite thing to do was to be out on the water, boating and fishing. He had a love for all animals, especially his puppy, Maggie.
All are invited to visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 on Thursday, June 16th, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon.
