Frank P. Mushisky II, 48, passed away unexpectedly September 13, 2019. Born in Akron on July 22, 1971, he was a lifelong area resident, graduating from Ellet High School in 1989 and Hammel College in 1990. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and also his dogs. He loved Lucille Ball, Whitney Houston, Stevie Nicks, the band Heart, and comedians Chelsea Handler and Wanda Sykes. He loved watching Absolutely Fabulous, the Golden Girls, Modern Family, and various crime shows.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Margaret Mushisky, Charles and Edith Septer, he will be sadly missed by daughters Caitie Mushisky, Jessie Mushisky; parents Frank Mushisky, Bev (Bob) Bergey; siblings Michelle (Gregg) Samoly, Shannon (Mike) Dye, David (Jolene) Bergey, Steve (Kelly) Bergey, Kathy (Phil Hutchison) Bergey; nieces Nicole McGovern, Monica Dye, Melanie Dye, Kristian Doolittle, Becca Bergey, Bailey Bergey; great nephews and niece Ryan, Hailey, Anthony, Dawson, Bryson, and A.J.; many aunts and uncles; and numerous friends.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church, 2406 Ardwell Ave., Akron 44312. A private inurnment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park at a later date.
