Frank J. Shenigo, 88, passed away peacefully at home September 29, 2021. Born in Central City, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Anna (Wroblesky) Shenigo, he had resided in Suffield most of his adult life. Frank was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was the former owner and operator of Ellet Radiator Service, where he was known as "Icepick". After retirement he started Beaver Stump Removal and acquired the name "Stoney". Frank greatly enjoyed his ponies, running all types of equipment to improve his land and spending winters in Punta Gorda, Florida with Donna Jean.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Dorothy; son, Michael; soul mate, Donna Jean. He is survived by his children, Lynn (Bob) Allison, Frank (Jane) Shenigo, Dr. Mary Shenigo, Joe (Susy) Shenigo, Andy (Kelly) Shenigo; grandchildren, Rob, Michelle, Steve, Jennifer, Matt, Mike, Victoria, Stephanie, Alisa, Ryan, Kasilyn, Madison, Alivia; numerous great grandchildren.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a private burial in Pennsylvania. A Celebration of Frank's Life will take place Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mogadore Moose, 4095 Mogadore Road. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Frank's name to LifeBanc or any veteran's service organization.
