Frank J. Yanni

Frank J. Yanni, 71, passed away on August 19, 2022. He was born February 4, 1951 the son of the late Joseph and Josephine Yanni. Frank retired from MacTac in Stow.
Frank enjoyed the outdoors especially golfing, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers Fan and always looked forward to playing poker with his friends.
Frank is survived by his loving family, wife of 18 years, Wendy Yanni; children Erin (Mitch) Madenfort, Lindsey (Kurt) Friend, Brittany Trammel, and Tiffany Trammel; grandchildren Mitchell (Joy) Madenfort, Mason Madenfort, Jaret Madenfort, Joel Madenfort, Sofia Friend, and Payton Friend; great-grandson Mitchell Madenfort; 2 sisters; his four legged "hound dog", Rosie Marie; and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 - 7:00pm at the Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held Thursday at 11:00am with Pastor Gary Smith officiating.
Interment will take place at Palmyra West Cemetery.
