Fred Louis Beers, Jr.

Fred L. Beers, age 68 of Akron passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. He was born on July 22, 1952 in Fort Bragg, NC, the son of the late Fred L. Beers, Sr. and Constance (Gary) {Hutchinson} Palmer.
In addition to his parents, Fred is preceded in death by his sister Karen (Greg) McGinnis and his daughter Tracey Dolittle.
Fred's memory will always be cherished by his wife of nearly 29 years, Kathy; children Heather Beers, Ashley Herold, Elizabeth (Kyle) Illingworth, Shannon (Justin Mahon) Beers, Kevin Byrd and Elyse Beers; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Cindy Page, Sharon Henrick, Darla (James) Meador; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Fred greatly enjoyed cooking, and adored his family, especially his grandkids. He didn't have a mean bone in his body, and never failed to help someone in need.
Per Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no formal service. A memorial celebration will take place at a later date. To leave a message for Fred's family, please scroll below.
