Fred A. Bonzo
Fred A. Bonzo passed away at age 67 on April 27, 2009. He was born in Akron and lived most of his life in the area. Retired from RFD Beaufort, Sharon Center. Fred enlisted in the U.S. Army, and spent 17 months in Korea. He enjoyed participating in sports, and later in life watching as a fan of the Indians, Browns, Cavaliers and NASCAR. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Gertrude Bonzo; sister, Stella Higy; and brother, Richard. He is survived by his wife, Lori; stepson, Billy Watkins; sisters, Maxine Kiggans and Anita Sisler; brother, David of Bedford, TX.; and many nieces and nephews and other family members. Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 4, at 1:00 pm at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Military Honors. Condolences may be sent to 1020 Delta 77 Drive, Akron, Ohio, 44312.
