Fred Harland Pritchard Jr., 83, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away at his home, surrounded by family on November 11, 2023. He was born in Akron on January 7, 1940 to the late Fred H. Pritchard Sr. and Louise {Hull} Pritchard.
Fred is survived by his longtime companion Patti Moseley; loving daughters, Carla (Cliff) Peterson and Crestlynn (Rich) Frasier; son, Rodney (Leslie) Pritchard; 9 grandchildren; Cristin (Matt) Nickless, Ryan (Rachel) Peterson, Megan (Bill) Preston, Rodney (Angela) Pritchard, Morgan (Aaron) Garlick, Nicolas (Christa) Greene, Nathan (Angela) Wesig, Delaney Wesig and Reagan Wesig; 13 great-grandchildren; brother Dean (Brenda) Pritchard; sister Joan Pritchard.
Fred was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a long time member of VFW Post 1062 of Cuyahoga Falls, making life long friendships. After his honorable discharge, Fred began his career and raised his family, retiring from Morgan Adhesives after 37 years of service.
Per Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place, and well-deserved military honors will be planned for a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, where Fred will be laid to rest. To share a memory of Fred or leave a special message for his family, please visit the guestbook below.
