Freda Marie Riemenschneider, age 81, of Rootstown, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2019.
Freda was born in Rootstown, Ohio on December 17, 1937 to her late parents, Ralph and Flora (nee Fox) Riemenschneider.
She graduated from Rootstown High School and lived in Rootstown all her life. She worked for Oak Rubber Company and Giant Eagle in Rootstown in the bakery. She enjoyed sports, embroidery and putting together jig saw puzzles, and trips to Amish country.
Freda is survived by sisters, Blanche (Carl) Taylor, Hazel McEwen, Norma Sands; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Other than her parents, Freda is preceded in death by her siblings, Bertha Shull, Mabel Lansinger, Paul, Russell and Elmer Riemenschneider.
Cremation has taken place and services will be a announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Rootstown Fire Department.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
