Freda G Rubin born August 28, 1942, passed away suddenly October 28, 2020 at Akron City Hospital.
She was married in 1961 to her surviving husband Fred A Rubin, and is also survived by 1 daughter. Preceded in death by her brother Charles, sisters Donna, and Lena. Survived by brothers Ron, Dennis and Jeff, as well as sisters, Mattie, Ann, and a large family of nieces, and nephews.
Freda was born in Kentucky and spent her adult life in Akron, where the neighborhood called her grandma. She was well-known for her giving heart, and amazing cooking.
There will be no services per Freda's request. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to: St. Jude Research Hospital.
