Frederick E. Niestoeckel, Sr. "Mr. Fred"
Frederick E. Niestoeckel, Sr., 88, passed away June 12, 2008. He was born in Akron on May 27, 1920 and lived in the area all of his life. He retired from BF Goodrich with 36 years of service and attended Springfield Fellowship Church. Fred enjoyed fishing, bowling, and helping with the Plus or Minus Ministry. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beatrice; second wife, Anna; parents, Augustus and Hazel; and sister, Freda. He will be deeply missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Denise; grandsons, Robert (Kristine) and Jeremy; and great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Kaitlyn. Visitation will be TODAY from 10-11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service, officiated by Rev. Denny Hazen. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Springfield Fellowship Church, 830 Ewart Rd., Akron, OH 44312.
