Frederick F. Wile
Frederick F. Wile, 87, of Randolph, passed away June 15, 2010. Fred was born in Knox, Pennsylvania on March 26, 1923 to the late Harvey and Gertrude Wile. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a past commander of the Lakemore Army Navy Club. He devoted 42 years to Kenmore Construction and was proud of the work he did there, including construction of the Oriana House. In his free time, Fred enjoyed flying small planes and camping. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald; three brothers; and one sister. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 38 years, Barbara; sons, Gary (Ella) Wile and Gerald (Leberliza) Wile; stepchildren, David (Nancy) Butcher, Tammy Butcher, LaDawn (Calvin) Eyre, James (Nancy) Butcher, Ronald (Sharon) Butcher, and Michael (Jody) Butcher; 17 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 11:30 - 12:30 followed by a 12:30 p.m. funeral service. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
