Frederick L. Gordon

Frederick L. "Fred" Gordon, 65, passed away on September 10, 2023. He was born on March 28, 1958 the son of the late Earl and Teresa Gordon. He was a lifelong truck driver and was known across the country for his CB handle "String Bean". Fred was a member of the Eagles and the Moose Club of Portage County. He enjoyed a good conversation talking to his neighbors or going to the church for their monthly gatherings. Fred looked forward to going to car shows. He will be known for his sense of humor, kindness, and his infectious laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Fred is survived by his children Frederick (Amy) Gordon and Heather (Ridge) Peggs; grandchildren Zach, Jasmine, Raelynn, and Teaghan; siblings Jeanette (Bob) Townend, Edward (Valerie) Gordon, and Loretta Gordon; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held Friday, (Sept 29th). Service will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Bill Davis at 887 W. Spruce Ave. Ravenna, Ohio 44266.
