Gale M. Kennedy of Akron, Ohio passed away after an extended illness on May 27, 2022 at the age of 80.
Gale is predeceased by her parents, Helen & Grady Kennedy, and her brothers Robert Kennedy and David Kennedy. Gale is survived by her nephew Brett (Vicki) Kennedy of North Canton, great-neice Hayley, great-nephew Jake, and many cousins and extended family members.
Gale was born the youngest of 3 children, to Helen and Grady Kennedy on September 15, 1941 in Akron, Ohio. Gale was the long time owner and operator of the Oak Hill Beauty Salon in Akron, until her retirement in 2014. Gale was an avid bowler and golfer, and had quite a skilled hand for knitting and crocheting.
Arrangements for a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers or sentiments, please consider a memorial offering to the Concordia Lutheran Church (724 Sumner St., Akron, OH 44311) in Gale's memory.
