Garnet Ann Cole
Garnet Ann Cole, 72, went home to be with the Lord on June 16, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of the Akron Baptist Temple where she was part of the Golden Agers. Garnet enjoyed bowling, traveling, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, and volunteering at Edwin Shaw and Akron Baptist Temple. She is back in the arms of her husband, Eugene; and holding her great-granddaughter, Hannah. Garnet is survived by her children, David (Sally) Cole, Jeannie (Joe) Gibbs, and Daniel (Marcia) Cole; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Brian and Robert Boyter; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. Calling hours will be held Sunday, June 20, from 6 to 8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will be hold Monday, June 21, at 11 am with Pastor Ernie Kemppel officiating. Interment at Crown Hill Burial Park. COPACHEEKABUTCH.
