Gary E. Greathouse, Jr., age 49 of New Franklin passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Akron on April 20, 1971, the son of the late Gary Sr. and Susan {Brodie} Greathouse.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his sister Susan "Twoie" and his beloved grandmother, Nancy Brodie.
Gary's memory will always be cherished by his wife, Denise; daughters Molly (Adam), Mary, Nancy (Peyton) and Kristin; Steven (Amber), Tara and Trisha, whom he loved as if they were his own; grandchildren Sean, C.J., George, Tallulah, Maci, Teagan and Colson.
Per Gary's wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are welcome to visit on Saturday, February 6 from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the 12:00 p.m. memorial service at Newcomer, Akron Chapel 131 N.
