Gary J. Kovacs, 58, passed away December 8, 2005. Gary lived his entire life in Akron. He attended Akron University and retired from Goodrich. He was an avid Ohio State fan. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Kovacs. He is survived by Sheri Kovacs; daughters, Jenny (Ellis) Evans and Heather Kovacs (Michael Minx); sister, Linda (Daniel) Barnes; grandchildren, Daniel and Trinity; and his cat, Mittens. A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 17 at 11 a.m. in the chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park, with Robert Schneider officiating.
