Gary W. Lampe, age 56, of Akron passed away on July 10, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1967, to Douglas and Barbara Lampe. Gary married Shannon on May 15, 2013, and was a loving husband for 11 years. He was a loving family man. He was an avid hiker and enjoyed the Summit Metro Parks.
He is survived by his parents Douglas and Barbara Lampe; wife Shannon Lampe; step-children Dalton (Rebecca) Foote, Abby Ryan, Beverly (Jeremy) Vincenzo, and Kristen (Colin) Ingram; 8 grandchildren; brothers Mark Lampe, and David (Susan) Lampe; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial will be planned at a later date.
