Gary Lynn Dempsey
Gary Lynn Dempsey, age 64, went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2015 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Braxton County, West Virginia on June 2, 1951. Gary will be remembered by his love of music, cooking, and a quick sense of humor.
Preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ward and baby daughter, Candice Dempsey. He is survived by wife, Kathy. He also leaves behind sisters, Barb (Orange), Twilla (Doug), and Becky; brothers, James (Brenda), Terry, and Dean; children, Tina (Kyle), Gary (Missy), Daniel (Melissa), Jeff (Heather); stepchildren, Jerry and Brandy; thirteen grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Memorial Park, 1025 Canton Rd., Akron. Everyone please meet in the cemetery parking lot.
