Gary Paul Miller

Gary P. Miller, 64, of Columbus and previously of Akron, passed away very unexpectedly on March 4, 2022. He was born on December 17, 1957 in El Paso, Texas. Gary graduated from Tallmadge High School in 1976. He worked for Pam Transport since 2012.

Gary was a jack of all trades with a great hunger for knowledge. He was an exceptional handyman who could fix most anything. He took courses in lawn mower repair, photography, and to learn to speak Spanish, just to name a few.

Gary will be deeply missed by his son, Paul Miller; step-son, John Carper; sisters, Linda, Cynthia, and Barbara; and many family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Miller; and mother and step-father, Twila and Charles Shepherd.

A funeral service will take place on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 5pm at Newcomer 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, OH. Visitation will follow until 8pm.

On Thursday March 17, a formal procession will begin at Newcomer Funeral Home at 12:30PM. Graveside service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Akron.
