Gary E. Weese
March 10, 1953 — January 9, 2023
Gary E. Weese, 69, passed away January 9, 2023 after a brief illness. Born in Philippi, WV to John and Martha (Gillis) Weese, he resided in Akron, OH most of his adult life. Gary was a soft spoken man who enjoyed watching westerns, carpentry, socializing with friends and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents Gary was preceded in death by siblings, Emma, John, James, Jerome, Jefferson, Jonathan, Jack. He will be sadly missed by siblings, Butch (Patty), Janet (David) Hillyard, Sue Perry, Sally Gibson; many nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will have a private graveside ceremony in WV at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Gary's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
