Gary W. Williams, age 72 of Akron, Ohio died on April 20, 2022.
He was born on February 11, 1950 in Portsmouth, Ohio, the son of the late Cassie (nee Williams) Wiles.
Gary was an avid deer hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to get away from the hustle and bustle of life to his cabin in Southern Ohio.
Survivors include his loving wife, the former Lea Meadows, whom he married on November 4, 1974; a devoted father to Melissa (Jason) Armbruster and Gary W. Williams II. His sister, Connie Murphy, also survives.
Per Gary's request there will not be any calling hours or services and he will be cremated.
All arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Newcomer Funeral Home, Akron, Ohio.
