Gary L Woods

Gary L. Woods Sr. has moved on to the resting portion of this age on Saturday Feb 12th, 2022. He was born on September 17th in 1937. He had joined and traveled all over the world in the U.S. Navy. He was skilled in welding and small engine repairs. He worked for many years at Atlantic Foundry and Carter Machine as a Machinist. In his free time, he enjoyed camping, hunting, motorcycle riding and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his father Victor Woods and his mother Lenore, his first wife Carol, his second wife, Kathryn and his long time companion Doretha and his brother Dick. He is survived by his dear family, sister Karen, children Patricia, Tena, Beverly, Gary and many wonderful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild on the way. He had many other loving extended family and friends such as his best friends and neighbors, Jim and Penny. He was the proud dog owner of Bear and Missy that were close to his heart. To honor his wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. He lived a life of respect and dignity that he was highly regarded and admired for and will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
