Gearl Lee "Geri" Wyatt
Gearl Lee "Geri" Wyatt, 68, went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2009, after a long illness. Geri was a longtime member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church in Norton, where she was active in many ways. She loved spending time with her grandchildren as well as going to gospel singings. Preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Minnie (Boothe) Stevens; 1 infant brother; and 2 infant sisters. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, John D. Wyatt; sons John (Kathi) and Ron (Kathy) Wyatt; daughter Donna (Greg) Doane; extended family member Mark (Dawn) Wilson; grandchildren Jessica (Paris), James (Angie), Angela (Vinnie), Michael, Kyle, Brandon, and Ryan; great-granddaughter Zoey; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where a funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
