Gene V. Colegrove, 74, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away July 11, 2008. He was born in Akron on January 19, 1934. Gene proudly served in the U.S. Army and was the founder and owner of Gene's Produce. He was well loved in his community and loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Colegrove and Adelia Balchak and brother, Robert Colegrove. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Patsy; children, Sheila (George) Hodnichak, Pamela (Larry) Walker, Dennis Colegrove (Dana), and Rhonda (Herbert) Seabolt; grandchildren, Sherrie, Shellie, Charles, James, Regina, Tami, Krystal, Kathy, Valerie, and Patsy; and great-grandchildren, Denise, D'Asia, Andrew, Shayleen, Aubrey, Dillon, Logan, Allara, Mira, Noah, Noelle, Aiden, Justin, Alisha, Shyanna, and Shawn. A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Northlawn Memorial Gardens, Pastor Rick Serbin officiating. Military honors provided by Mogadore VFW 8487.
