Geneva (Luke) Snider
Geneva (Luke) Snider, 88, passed away June 15, 2011. She was born December 26, 1922 near Caldwell, Ohio, the daughter of Harley Luke and Florence (Needs) Luke. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Snider; brother, Russell Luke; and sister, Eleanor Luke Mason. She leaves two sons, Dale Snider and wife, Jane and Ron Snider, both of Akron, Ohio. She leaves one daughter, Myrna (Snider) Ross and husband, Phil, of the Atwater, Ohio area. She leaves her brother, Harold Luke of Zanesville, Ohio. She also leaves five grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and Monday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m., Pastor Phil Ross officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
