Geneva Stahl
Geneva Stahl, 90, of Akron, passed away April 3, 2007. Geneva was born June 5, 1916 in Wilmington, DE to the late Charles and Mary Hackett. She was employed at Lockwood Elementary School for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, singing hymns, and camping. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Stahl; sisters, Dorothy Simmons, Eleanor Duncan, and Elva Levin; and brother, Howard Hackett. She is survived by her sons, William L. (Mary) Stahl of Deltona, FL and Charles (Gail) Stahl of Inverness, FL; sister, Barbara Walker of New Castle, DE; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10-12 with services beginning at 12 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Rev. Karen Hartley officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
