Genevieve H. Fabry
Genevieve H. Fabry, 85, passed away on November 14, 2007 at the home of Jill and Tim Hoffman. Born March 31, 1922 in Akron, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul and parents Robert "Dude" and Evelyn Gregg. Genevieve is survived by her son Paul Dennis Fabry, and three daughters and sons-in-law: Colleen and Larry Carr, Gail and Jim Winkleman, Jill and Tim Hoffman. Genevieve-known by her friends as "Genny" or "Dusty"-also leaves 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Genny's hobbies included gardening, playing the piano and organ, sewing, and other needlecrafts. She was a long-time member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Goodyear Heights. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Hospice of Summa for the wonderful support, kindness and compassion they provided. Calling hours will be Sunday, 6-9 p.m. and Monday, 12-1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Summa 444 N.
