Geoffery "Geph" Michael Cliff

Geoffery “Geph” Michael Cliff passed away at the age of 60 in Akron, Ohio, on February 15, 2025. He was born on January 23, 1965, in Waukegan, Illinois, to Melinda and Norman Weems.

Geph grew up in Southern California, raised by his mother, Melinda and stepfather, Charles “Chuck” Cliff and alongside his brother, Scott, shaped him into the kind and spirited man he became. He was proud that serving in the U.S. Army nurtured his strong and adventurous soul that he carried throughout his life.

A true free spirit, in his youth Geph had a passion for skateboarding, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. His love for music was as eclectic as his sense of humor—he was always singing badly and laughing endlessly. His joy for life was infectious, and his humor left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Geph is survived by his loving wife, Tanya LaRue Cliff, his cherished puppies, Luna and JD, his stepfather Chuck, his stepmother Sam, and his step brother, Chayson Descisciolo. He will be deeply missed by many friends and family.

A private viewing was held on February 19, 2025, in accordance with his wishes, and no formal services will be held.
