George W. Fassnacht
George W. Fassnacht 62, of Akron passed away December 20th, 2008. Born in Akron, Ohio to the late Robert E. and Edith (Haft) Fassnacht. George enjoyed coaching his sons playing baseball, being an avid fisherman, and master bingo player. He also is preceeded in death by two brothers, Charles Fassnacht and William White. He is survived by his beloved wife Harriet D. Fassnacht of 43 years, sons, Robert Michael, Christopher Allen (Melissa), and George Raymond (Stephanie). Sisters, Ann (Bob) Warner, Bonnie (Sid) Foster, Diane (Ed) Morrison, and Joanne (Jerry) Jarvis; brother Robert Fassnacht. Grandchildren, Xavier, Zoe, and Emma and soon to be new arrival. Memorial services will be conducted Tuesday, December 23rd at 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home where family and friends may call from 5-7 In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of George W. Fassnacht to the family.
