George P. Klein
George P. Klein, 83, passed away on April 3, 2007. Born June 11, 1923 in Akron to the late Phillip and Minnie (Wagner) Klein. George was a veteran of WWII, having served with the US Navy. He retired from BF Goodrich after over 30 years of service. George was a hard worker and good provider for his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Phillip Klein and sister Anna Brockman. Survivors include his son Jeff Klein; daughter Linda (Dan) Haidet; grandchildren Kevin and Jeremy Klein, Greg (Angela) Swaino, Lisa Ann Swaino, Michelle Fast; and great-granddaughters Haley, Lindsey, Ashley, and Shayna. Funeral service TODAY, 7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Calling hours from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Online condolences may be made at www.Newcomerfamily.com.
