George L. Yeager

George L. Yeager, 80, of Ellet, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosa Yeager; daughter, Vickie Loughney; granddaughter, Jennifer Reiheld; mother-in-law, Weadus Cooper and eleven siblings. George is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy; daughter, Terri Reiheld; grandson, Brian (Erica) Lang; grandson, Johnny Loughney; granddaughter, Kristilee Loughney; great-granddaughter, Rylee Lang; and many nieces and nephews. He retired from Meggitt Aircraft and Braking Systems after 42 years of service. George was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. He was a member of Wayfarer Lodge #789 (Englebeck) where is served as past master. He was actively involved in Tadmor Shriners transporting children to Erie Hospital. Also, George was a member of Eastern Star Falls Chapter #245. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to special niece, Gloria Poole, for emotional support to Dorothy and George in his last weeks. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 18 from 3-7 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. where a Masonic Service will be held at 6 p.m. The funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Baldridge officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
